Amman Design Week is an annual immersive experience in design thinking and creativity. Focused on creating a forum for learning, exchange and collaboration, this platform empowers designers and invites them to engage in the cross-pollination of communities and ideas.
With the support of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, Amman Design Week will grow annually to become a hallmark for educational and cultural programming in the city, establishing Jordan as a recognized hub for design, creativity and modern Arab culture.
JASMINE CANVAS

Jasmine Canvas is a proposed design solution for the Samir Al Rifai Park, an urban pocket located between Jabal Weibdeh and Downtown Amman.
The new park design seeks to build bridges and facilitate connection between the diverse refugee and local constituencies that call the surrounding neighborhoods home. With a specific focus on engaging youth, the park is divided into three main zones: the play pit zone for children, the interactive jasmine wall – an urban canvas ideal for hosting cultural activities that weaves a pedestrian connection through the two neighborhoods, and an active zone that adds additional sport facilities to the existing skate park.
